Required Competition Tools:
- Official Excel Spreadsheets (For Main Competitions): These are the mandatory tools for scoring Main Competitions. They automatically calculate the DOTS Formula and Age Factor to figure out the final placements. We have two versions to choose from depending on the weight plates you are using:
- Pounds (lbs) Spreadsheet: Use this version if you are recording all lifted weights in pounds.
- Kilograms (kgs) Spreadsheet: Use this version if you are using kilogram plates and recording all weights in kilograms.
- Competition Score Sheet – Flight Master (PDF): This sheet is used for main competitions by the scoring table to help record lifting attempts for a flight of lifters. Lifters declare their attempts, and the scoring table uses this list to call up the next lifter. Officials can easily record the attempts right on the sheet by circling if it is “Good” or marking an “X” if the attempt is “NO GOOD”. You can also check off whether the lifts are being recorded in pounds or kilograms. The actual lift attempt results from this sheet are then recorded in the main competition Excel spreadsheet.
- Official Excel Spreadsheets (For Record Breakers): These are the official spreadsheets you need to use for scoring Record Breaker events. Just pick the version that matches the weights you are using at your meet (USA directors usually pick pounds, while Europe and other places usually pick kilograms):
- Pounds (lbs) Spreadsheet: Use this version if you are recording all lifted weights in pounds.
- Kilograms (kgs) Spreadsheet: Use this version if you are using kilogram plates and recording all weights in kilograms.
- PDF Score Sheets (For Record Breakers): We provide two distinct score sheets—one for the Raw Division and one for the Equipped Division. Athletes must fill these out themselves and submit them to the meet director. This is how we track lifts for everyone, whether they are competing right there onsite or lifting remotely! The meet director will then take that information and type it into the official Record Breakers Excel Spreadsheet. Please note that athletes are strictly limited to a maximum of five record breaker lifts total.
- OTSO Weigh-In Form (PDF): This is the official form used for weigh-ins. A signed waiver is required before a lifter can be weighed in by an official. This form tracks the lifter’s actual age on the day of the event , and their body weight must be marked in pounds, kilograms, or both. You have to complete all the fields because this information is used for recording National and World Records!
