Skull Krusher with Olympic Style Bar

Official Rules

A shorter bar may be substituted for a standard 7-foot (2.13-meter) Olympic bar. Exception: a bar of a minimum of 5 feet 1.52 meters can be used (see VI.D.3). The lifter begins by lying on the platform face up, with their legs straight, and arms bent at the elbows reaching back over the head to grasp the bar with their palms facing upward. The lifter’s grip on the bar must not exceed shoulder width. Any standard size weight plates are allowed. During the lift, the legs must remain straight and flat on the ground. The lifter is allowed to have someone hold their feet, if so desired. The lift begins with lifter grasping the bar behind the top of the head. The Head Referee will give a “Start” command and the lifter will press the weight from behind their head to a locked elbows position. Once the lifter has the bar overhead, elbows locked and motionless, the Head referee will give a “Down” command to end the lift. The bar is then returned to the floor. Kilts are not permitted on lifts where lifters are lying on the ground or on any bench press lift. Officials Commands: Start, Down
