Saxon Two Hands Anyhow
Official Rules
The lifter may use any combination of dumbbells, kettlebells or barbells for this lift. The weight of each implement does not need to be the same weight; one implement can weigh more than the other, but two implements must be used for this lift. Both implements must be lifted from the platform to overhead and locked out with both arms straight. The lifter may use any form or type of lifting to achieve this goal, such as a push press, clean, snatch, strict press or a jerk.
The first weight may be lifted using both hands and then followed by the other weight. The bar may also be upended, turned on its side, on the platform during the lift. The first weight may be taken to the shoulder or pressed overhead while the second implement is being picked up from the platform. The lifter may also choose to lift both weights at the same time, but the weights do not need to necessarily be pressed overhead at the same time. When both weights are motionless overhead, locked out and the body upright, the Head referee will give the “Down” command. The lifter must make every effort to return the weights under control to the platform. Officials Commands: Down
