BAYOU BARBELL WORLD RECORD BREAKERS

WEIGH-INS: 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM, LIFTING BEGINS AT 9:00 AM
THE LIFTS:
- 2-INCH AXLE OVERHEAD PRESS (APOLLON’S AXLE)
- DONALD DINNIE DEADLIFT
Both RAW & EQUIPPED divisions are available to enter. The BAYOU BARBELL WORLD RECORD BREAKERS meet will follow the meet and lifters are allowed to set up to 5 OTSO World Records.
The BAYOU BARBELL BRAWL & BAYOU BARBELL WORLD RECORD BREAKERS allow both ONSITE & REMOTE LIFTING for OTSO WORLD RECORDS.
If you would like to participate Remotely, please contact meet director Jeff Bankens & pay the entry fee. All OTSO World Records require 3 certified OTSO referees. If you are lifting Remotely without 3 referees and you are a certified OTSO referee, you may submit your Remote video lifts to the OTSO Leadership team to be officiated. If you are lifting REMOTELY and 3 certified OTSO Referees are present, please submit your lifts directly to the meet director, Jeff Bankens. ENTRY FEE: $40 dollar entry fee for all athletes for athletes. All Athletes will receive a BAYOU BARBELL BRAWL t-shirt and certificates for lifting.
After the results have been posted, you may email the OTSO Leadership Team at info@oldtimestrongman.org to receive a digital OTSO World Record certificate for your amazing accomplishment. Please include your name, the lift, weight lifted, your weight class, age group and divsion(Raw or Equipped) you set the OTSO World Record in.

AWARDS: BAYOU BARBELL BRAWL T-shirts & certificates for lifting for all lifters
WEIGHT CLASSES & AGE GROUPS: The following Weight Classes and Age Groups will be contested at the Bayou Barbell Brawl 2026
WEIGHT CLASSES: (all weight classes are in kilos with the same weight classes for men & women) below 50, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90-99, 100-109, 110-119, 120-129, 130-139, 140 plus
AGE GROUPS: 13 & under, 14-15, 16-17, 18-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90 and over
OTSO WORLD RECORDS CAN BE SET IN ALL WEIGHT CLASSES AND AGE DIVISIONS
